...ride like they're gonna kill
yeah, been posted everywhere. would love to hear what happened to the dj's the following day...
doesn't bother me...or not any more than all the other cage-driving assholes who don't admit they're cage driving assholes. Most stuff like that, lane splitting in particular, is dangerous and best left avoided anyway. It's like running in front of a lion with a big juicy steak around your neck...like we need to encourage people to kill us...
Every time I'm in Cali I get spooked by a lane splitting bike when in slow traffic. I just don't expect it. It's their choice I suppose. I have noticed some bikes do it and others won't. I wouldn't do it. it does seem dangerous to me.
well, i honestly dont like (i mean hate) lane splitting...but the area where i live is always jammed..orange crush on the south and 5 north backup going to LA...so i always find my self sharing lanes if the traffic falls below 35mph....i look into sigalert.com for traffic conditions before i go to avoid freeways that are backup too...
some bikes dont do it coz they dont fitĀ ....j/k
its just this radio show caters to people in their morning commute and effing fuel people's jealousy on bikes "cutting in line"...that just irresponsible..that effed up i think...and reminded me to be more cautious when sharing lanes

people who live here arent as surprised by it. many actually move over to give you more room. I try to wave a thank you when they do. Once in a while someone closes the gap on purpose and once in a while someone does a quick, no look lane change into you nearly hitting you. it can happen but if you are aware you can prevent it-for example, when ever there is a space on one side I assume a car will try to jump into it and ride prepared for that.
