Supply and demand bud. Someone like me? I wouldn't pay a penny, but of course I have one, and it's a backup behind my V&H. Also depends on condition. If it's flawless, maybe up to $200? If it is dented, bent, badly scratched, rust spots, in need of work, perhaps $100 or even less. I would tell him how much you want. Never say make me a deal. Then you lose all hand in the barganing process. Tell him what you'd like and let him work you from there.

I think John the site admin was selling one a little while ago. You should PM him and ask him what he got.
it is in really good condition but battery acid spilled on the bottom of the tubes but its not noticable when it s on the bike. so somwhere arround 150 sounds good?
It all comes down to whether you feel as though you got enough for it. If your happy with $150, then it's enough. Maybe add a few bucks and tell him your negotiable. Unless he's a friend or cohort of some sort. I'd give a good deal.

I've seen other stock exhausts selling for about $50, complete and in good condition.
Well, anyone know how much Suzuki is charging?

new price doesn't really matter......it is used.
new computers 5 yrs ago that were $2000
are probably worth....$200 or less now
and would be difficult to get rid of
$50-100 is probably in the range
damn, Pablo and i kinda agree :?
I disagree. Mine for example, is in mint condition. (only a year on it) I think it would be worth at least $100. Only a third of the price of a V&H.

yea i guess if you put it like that its only worth at most $100. thanks for the input.

but much less than 1/3 the desireability. This affects value too.
Damnit.... your right about that. I said it myself, demand.
Ok, clap for Pablo.... he won.

I want to see how much that banged up OEM can on e-bay goes for. If they get the starting bid of $75 I will be impressed and you should definatly get $100 for a flawless full system.
Luke, do you still have that '98 exhaust? I'm in Minneapolis and would like to change-out my exhaust at the end of the season; my can has a hole in it, and the downpipe is starting to rust on my '92. I'm was thinking of getting one off ebay for $50 (+$20 s/h), but could pay $70 and come pick it up if the can hasn't been dented, and the battery acid spill hasn't caused rust. Might save you the hassle of finding a 4'x2'x2' box and taking it to UPS.
I bought John's stock can from him and paid $150 which was a hell of alot better than the $600 Suzuki wants for the thing, plus his was in immaculate condition.
