This is how you're supposed to do it...

That's some crazy stuff....Wish I had that amount of control right now (then again...not surprising that I don't after only like 2 weeks lol)
Very nice find Mak! :thumb:
Nary scoots his butt off the seat. Good form. His arms are loose. He keeps his head down, though, but it's where he's looking is what counts.
It looks like a GS, and sounds like one. But there's no way a GS can handle that good.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that it's an RC31.

I assure you, it can.
Looks like "autocross" for motorcycles. Call it...."motocross"?, nah, that's been taken. I could do that, except.......I'd lose my way among all the pylons, gates and itty-bitty turns. Then in an effort to correct on missing a turn..........
That's Crazy! Gotta get practicing...
that's awesome, and good catch scratch with the head direction. looking the direction you're going seriously is the #1 thing that helps my slow speed manuvering.
bump...
This got brought up in conversation elsewhere so I thought I'd bump it. Only good can come from watching this video.
Wow that is why I got this bike and not a cruser. I am so going to be that good. with-in a year's time. This summer I am going to become awsomeo! <-- my declaration.
Oh, would a GS need anything to do that? Maybe progressive springs up front? Anything else?
The GS can do that out of the box. It's actually a lighter bike with skinnier tires...it'll be eager to do better out of the box.
In fact that bike is Honda VFR400r nc21 and it's kind of similar in specs to a GS:
Specs at a glance: Max. H.P.: 59 HP @12,500rpm Torque: 4.0kg-m / 10,000rpm Dry weight: 158kg Front wheel:100/90R-16 Rear wheel: 140/70R-18
Very nicely done :thumb: needless to say.GS will be up to the task as well i think ;)
P.S. practice on good asphalt :icon_rolleyes:
anyone remember this video??
I wanted to show it to a friend but it looks like it's been taken down. Anyone know of anywhere else to find it.
it's a video a guy riding a bike around what seems like an autocross type course. Super tight turns around cones, weaves, peg draging and the like. I'd love to see this again to show a friend...and because i'm currently a parking lot warrior trying to practice and get comfortable on the bike before hitting the streets.
anyway, if you've got it or know where it is, link it up.
