Ok...so I got my front end stand in yesterday....the one that goes under the triple tree, not under the forks...as I'm planning to swap out front ends this weekend....(GSX-R 750 onto my SV is a direct swap)...
...but how do I go about doing this....I know I should remove all the plastics first....then lift and remove wheel, forks, etc.....but how do I swap out the triples??....should I put something under the bike to hold it up??....should I suspend the bike from a ladder??...should I find a couple strong guys to hold it up while I swap them out??....something else?....thanx all....

Yeah.
^bwahahhahhahaahhahahahaha!!!!
Kickstand trick, man....works like a charm...ir it does if you've got a place to secure your bike. I have a little trailer that makes it really easy for me. What I do is strap the rear wheel to something so that it won't move, put the kick stand down and then attach a come-along to the bike'r subframe on the kick stand side. When you go to cynching the back down it'll pick the front wheel up. Standard practice for me...I also do the opposite to lift the rear.
Centerstand and a 13.5" block of wood standing underneath one of the case-half bolts between the headers.
