Title: Must have songs...
Post by: SuZuki10 on January 21, 2006, 09:03:50 AM
I'm trying to hook up my ipod with the best "driving songs."  Help me out guys, I don't want to forget any classics.  What would you recommend as you must have driving songs??

I always feel bad ass when I crank "Grind" by Alice In Chains. Gotta love the groove  8)

"Everyday is a winding road" - Sheryl Crow
"No one to run with" - Allman Brothers Band
"Take it easy" - The Eagles
"Open Road Song" - Eve6

Are a few other cool driving songs I can think of off the top of my head. And +1 to the AC/DC response.

A lot of new stuff sucks  :icon_razz: I'm only 25, but I've noticed a sharp decline int he quality of popular music in the last few years. It is definitely a downward spiral.

Some of the newER stuff I tend to listen to while I am driving:

-Anything by Bloodhound Gang
-"Skin" by Breaking Benjamin
-"Never Gonna Stop" by Rob Zombie
-"Poem" - Taproot
-"Still Frame" - Trapt
-"Back In The Mud" - Bubba Sparxxx

Also, on the older side of things..almost anything by Jimmy Buffet! Like "Margaritaville", "Cheeseburger In Paradise", etc. Good stuff to get you feeling good, especially on long trips. Good mood music. :thumb:

Albert King & Stevie Ray Vaughn - Pride and Joy (be sure to get the one with Albert King, it's better with him)
They Might Be Giants - Yeh Yeh
Jet - Cold Hard Buddha Loves You
Presidents of the United States of America - Some Postman

and if you like big beat techno
Propellerheads - On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Propellerheads - Spybreak!
