well i finally finished, started at around 2 pm and got done around 2 am. keep in mind i went to the auto store a couple of times and out to sushi dinner  anyway, i rode around just now, yes, at 2 am, and i don't know how i feel about the progressives yet. they almost feel too stiff to me. i mean there is very little fork travel at all, is this normal with progressives? is it maybe just that i'm so uised to riding with crap suspension? i think i once read about someone else having this problem. i weigh about 170 with all my gear and i used 15wt fork oil. any ideas :dunno_white:

The 15wt does make it feel firm at first but after a while it wil be no problem but sometimes at first the action feels abit slow also oil amount is very important to much and and will hardly move at all I cant quite remeber how much it was but it was crucial :thumb:
Sure they feel stiff:
#1: They are brand new &
#2: You are used to riding around with crap suspension.
Just wait until you dive into that first corner 20 MPH faster than you are suppose to.
You'll reach for that brake, and lean to save yourself. Instead of plowing under braking, you'll actually be able to steer and save yourself instead of becoming a new mark on the Armco. :thumb:
(Now go rebuild your front brake calipers, put in a set of Double H pads and install a ss brakelline. Ahhh...control!)
Well done, facio! :thumb: Ready to come replace the forkseals on my ratbike now? :icon_mrgreen:
How many swear words were used from start to finish ?
