Somehow I came across this website. It's about a girl who rides her Ninja to Chernobyl and to the power plant. Interesting reading. She also has some other adventures I have not read yet.

I read this about a year or so ago. It's Awesome..!!
I saw this a while back too. I wish I could do something like this (without the green-glow after-effect)
I read this a couple of years ago. There has been some speculation about whether she's legit, but IMO she is. I highly recommend reading the whole thing!
O0 <--- love this one!
In an issue of Cycle Canada they said she never actually rode the bike...good read though.

LOL I have that same issue. Does alot towards credibility huh? :D
I have read alot on weather or not its a fake story. Either way, its a great read, real or not. Imagination loves it :).
You guys see where she says Chernobyl is another name for wormwood and lists these verses from Revelations??
REV 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
REV 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Thats Freaky

What a shame it's not true.. I remember the first time I saw it. I was completely engrossed and read through the whole thing. The whole story sort of reminded me of an old computer game called Fallout.

Just after I posted this, I did a search on the writer Elena and found all the comments on the web about it being fake. Apparantly at one time in 2004 the website was getting more hits than any other website. Maybe that's a lie too I don't know. I didn't post back right away that it may be fake because I thought maybe some people would still find it interesting to read. I still think it's an interesting take on the Chernobyl accident.
Lest we forget ....
Agreed. It's still amazing that there's an entire city just standing there completely empty.
The one link that Werase posted about the the guy from Australia who took the actual tour was a pretty interesting read as well.

My friend just sent me this... Thought I'd bump it for anyone that missed it.
Today (26th April) is the 20th anniversary of Chernobyl going pop.
last month's national geographic had a big story with lots of pics on chernobyl in honor of this month's 20th anniversary. There were alot of pictures in that story that struck an eery similarity to the ones on the kidofspeed website. Too bad it's not true, I remember being mesemerized the first time i read that site.

Never the less still worth the read.
i just watched a long special on chrenobyl last nite on nightline i believe
I first read it about a year ago but there are mixed opinions on its authenticity. Funnily enough I am at this exact moment watching some of the memorial service on TV news. It was 20years ago today when the lid blew off.
