Post by: RVertigo on January 25, 2006, 01:47:53 PM
So...  davipu, Skoozi, my friend Jake, and I went snowboarding on Saturday...  But, I took zero pictures...

Hey Skoozi, You have any pics?  And...  You gonna fly back out here to go again on Superbowl Sunday?

Yep and he made us listen to him sing the whole way there and back!  Oh and don't believe the lies, I got burried in a giant mound of snow (almost lost forever) so I stink.

I might have some crappy ones that picked up more of the snow than anything.  Sorry guys, I am a total slacker.  I'll check my cam when I get home.

Ha ha, since the silly Seahawks are in the Stuperbowl, I'm not gonna watch it anyway...might as well... :icon_twisted:

Now people are handing me stuff to do... (I'm about to go hide till 5)

Work?  Screw that stuff...  I feel like slacking... HA HA HA HA

I figure there will about about 20 people on the mounting...  And maybe another 20 people in the lodge watching the game...   :thumb:  I will OWN the mountain!!!!!!

I seem to recall a free lift ticket since I rule this mountain convo, you still gonna go for that??

Do you think they're gonna have all the lifts running with such a small crowd??? :dunno_white:

Yeah... They should be normal operations...  I hope anyway...   :o  Maybe I should look into it a little more.

Free ticket who?  Huh?  Where?  I'm buying a ticket for Jake...  Bastard got laid off...

Sooo.....

Anyone want to fly me up, buy my ticket, rent my gear, and teach me how to board? Is it at all like water skiing?

I can cover the teaching part...  It's a little bit like wakeboarding...  A little bit like skateboarding...  And a little bit like skiing...

Hmm. I did competition water skiing a while back, so I think I got that part down... This might be a plan for next winter break for me.

Have you wakeboarded?  It's more like that, since you ride sideways...

I snowboarded first, so I had to un-learn a few things when I wakeboarded......  You can't use your edges to slow down...  HA HA HA HA...

I haven't wakeboarded, but I've got a trick ski. It's sitting in the garage right now. I should try it out again. I had a go on it a few times a few years back but probably forgot most of it.

the 50 degree temp. has almost ruined the ski season here in Ohio. I did get to go to Holiday Valley in New York though :thumb: :thumb:

Sounds like you guys had fun

I had a blast...  For some reason, it's always more fun to snowboard with a group...

Next time we'll do more jumps!   :icon_mrgreen:
