It takes a bit to get used to them & even longer to get them adjusted properly. Compared to the standard mirrors on the GS's they're 100% on them.
Bike looks great Bubba!
Very nice.
The black fairing works in really well with the rest of the package.
I like the mirrors too.

what kind of fairing is that? looks good :thumb:
The fairing is called a 'Stone' fairing. It's a universal fairing based on what was a common fairing on the Kwakas & Hondas of the 70's.
It gives pretty good protection on the highway as well.
Sorry but that windscreen just looks ridiculous.
I personally don't like the screen either, but it's your bike. If you like it, then kudos to you.
Can you post close-up pics of the custom taillight? Side pic and rear pic? Thankz :thumb:
Great job BubbaZ. :thumb:
It gives the GS a retro look that (maybe) you were trying to achieve. In this case it works well.
It is a very clean looking project.
Body parts are subject to personal tastes, thus the negative comments. Just like a girlfriend/wife, it doesn't matter what others think because you are the one that gets to ride her. ;)

Your right on the money about body work, I was a little unsure about that fairing, but it looks ok on plus it works well on the highway.
I wanted to get a 'cafe racer' look to the bike.

I'll take some pics the next day or two.
Thanks Bubba I was wondering how the stone farings look on the GS you'll have to do the Stone run if its still going on and have you seen the movie?

A good ole motorcycling/Bikie film, the scene where on of the boys is tripping and see an assasin is classic. :thumb:

I'm watching the movie now  I have a copy on tape, I'm just going to get a copy on DVD.
After Mad Max, Stone is my fave Aussie movie.
