I've always loved white motorcycles, the TL1000R, SRAD GSXRs, my problem is with white wheels... whoever decided that a chain final bike should have white wheels should be shot. :cookoo:
The one that's in your garage.
Definitely the white on Red.
The white, IMO, is so much better. I am surprised that it is such a landslide poll so far.
Does Danny still have his white CBR for sale?
Holy gigantic pics Batman!
I like the white a lot too. For whatever reason I don't see many around San Diego. Looks good though :thumb:
I like the red and black.
the white's nice, but the black gives more of a 'stealth' look
I agree that white is the better, here's why:
1. It's the safer color
2. It'll show dirt just as well as the black
3. It's not as noticeable as the R&B to the cops
4. Everybody else has the R&B.
The only bad things are:
1. It'll show the bugsplats better
The white looks like a race bike. The red and black looks like. . . well, ever CBR I've ever seen.
It is like buying a Ninja. Would you rather have green or black. Black looks stelthier, but green looks like a race bike.
That picture is freakin' huge, BTW.
White and red, and then powdercoat the wheels red. That would be sweet.

How do you figure that red and white is less noticeable to the cops? That's just ridicules. Statistically red cars get more tickets than other coloured ones. So red is red, and if your speeding past a cop, you're getting a ticket no matter what colour your bike is.
ps. keep in mind that 47.3% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
Although I did hear the red car thing somewhere. Just can't remember where.
I say get the Red and Black... and point me to the person selling the Red/White F4i! :thumb:

I don't need to worry about cops, I work for customs and we get along very nicely with our fellow law enforcement

Wow... are you sure that's the same bike as pictured in this thread? I mean... whow... the F4i in that other thread has major scratches on the left side.... the guy must have ate it pretty hard at high speeds to get scratches to THAT extent. I'm guessing his bike slid across the pavement several meters... cause I've seen F4i's go down before and they did not have that level of damage! And what happened to his left side frame sliider???????????
It's not the same bike. And I wouldn't buy a crashed one unless I had a shop and even then for 3 grand...I don't think so.
That bike didn't look bad at all, when I put my FJ down, she slid for almost 200 feet, looked wayyy worse than that, I put a new ignition cover on her, did some work with the plastics and she looks fine now, that CBR is in fine shape, there's almost certainly nothing wrong with it mechanically, you have to consider that they put those covers on the side of the engine to protect the internals. Slap on a new cover, use some touch up paint and save yourself $1500-2000.... that's my take on it anyway.
