Hey, it may a poor indicator, but if there's no shadow seen, we can hope for an early spring. I'm good with that idea.

think there's one for each province up here in canada. if I understood the radio this morning, more winter for the US and no more winter for Canada.

I hate to admit it, but I actually grew up in Wiarton.
Groundhog day/weekend is just an excuse for a big party for the locals; and of course a huge source of revenue for the town - attracting tourists and selling merchandise all year round. That groundhog earns more money than most of us could dream about.
Dude it has been Spring here in the South since November. Todays high is approaching 70. So much for Winter.

Hasn't been real cold, and I'm a good 500 mi north of the MT/ND border. Today its 10F. highs next week are around 30-35F. Usually its -20F here this time of year. If this is global warming, I'll take it!

32°-1°F is called "Freezing."
33°-50°F is "Cold."
51°-60°F is "Chilly."
In Seattle, 61°-70°F is Warm... And 71° and up is 85° is HOT. :laugh: Anything more than that is "OMYGODI'MGONNADIE."

Another thermal inversion, huh? No matter. Wairton Willy didn't see his shadow, so it's an early spring in my parts. Snow is practically gone. All I need is a day of rain and that'll wash away the remaining salt and it'll be good to ride to work again. :thumb:
