Title: Alternative gauges for my 1990 gs500e bike
Post by: dptnl on February 03, 2006, 01:14:24 PM
Hi everyone
my name is doron, i'm almost 21 years old from israel.
first, i'de like to confess, english is not my native language so consider it when you'll
see bad syntax

i own a damn old bike, his age is about sixteen.
(don't blame me,blame my work at isp company that pays "alot"  :icon_rolleyes:)
no, i don't think my baby suppose to broke me,
bacause the past owners spent a lot of moeny on repairs and such,
and currently, i'm worry about the small things, one of them is my speedometer/rpm gauges.

i'de like to purchase an alternative gauges (at israel, brand new original gauges cost more then 1000$)
i perfer to purchase an universal gauges, and make my bike special.
i've spent some time on the internet (i've used google & ebay)
but i didn't manage to get anything that costs less then 100$.

do you know about online shops that deal with universal gauges for motorcycles?

thanks,
doron.  :thumb:

Okay, there was a member here named Hammu.  Hammu was a guy from Fineland or someplace like that.

Hammu had digital gauges.

Here is a link to an old Hammu thread about his bike.  Maybe you  could send him a PM and ask him about his guages?

Good luck.

I'm not sure if this is any help, but the translogic microdash seems pretty nice. I saw this in the March Edition of Sport Rider.
