Yeah I rang Suzuki a couple of weeks back  but they wouldn't give a price but they said march release so it may have changed i spoke to action suz and they said expect about $11500 i've had my eye on it for a while, nice low seat heat about 780, so much the same as GS so a test ride is on the cards.
But matt you own a 1200 bandit twice the cc of the GSR big step down in power because it wont be a GSXR like a Hornets not a Fireblade I'd keep the bandit big easy grunt although a lot of weight but I've watched Steve's Bandit run away from me on the back wheel, even with a GSR I probably still wont be able to keep up I'll just be alot closer then now. :thumb: :cheers:

I had a 2002 GSX-r 600 and it was as close to perfection as a bike could get.  Power, handling, easy to ride.  Get one and you won't be disappointed.

Matt glad to hear that your keeping the Bandit I was a bit worried there for a bit 8)
John the GSR should be a hoot, it carries a different EFI to the GSXR which will give it its low end and mid range but will probably sacrafice the top end, it should be more then enough for me but I don't expect it will be a GSXR in preformance, more hornet or FZ6 quick and thats fine by me :thumb: :cheers:

Was stumbling around Suzuki AUS's website and found the pricing for the GSR600 K6.

QuoteGSR600K6 -- Blue -- $10,990

Seems it'll only be available in Blue, and that price was set on the 12th January for those interested.

This looks like just the step up for me.  Similar riding position to the GS, similar height, more power better features.  Lots more expensive :mad:.  Looks like I'll be waiting for a couple of years.

where did you find one? they told me not on the show room floor for another week or two :mad:
also did anyone see suzuki's apalling showing at the GP on the weekend maybe suzuki should just give it away and stick to superbikes.

How about a bike that ISNT coming down under? The Suzuki GSR400;

http://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/gsr400/spec.html

They also have an SV400/S over there. Seem their licensing scheme in JP makes 250-400cc bikes a big market.

There is a huge market in Japan for 250cc-400cc bikes because they have restrictions on what sort of performance your allowed and all sorts. They build GSXR-1000's and 1300's but its illegal for them to ride them. Stupid.

Over here in the UK they imported alot of 400's from Japan, nearly all had the headlight conversion (point the other way when dipped) and nearly all had the clocks converted to mph.

I just bought a kawasaki zxr400 ninja. 65bhp at the rear wheel  :flipoff:
