Just wanted to know who everyone uses for their bike insurance. I'm going through GMAC from the rider.com site, and it is only like $11 a month for liability, wouldda only been like $35 for full on my 99.
I am 24 and married with clean record
lucky lucky you ! . i pay 75 a month . but i'm also 21 and have two not seat belt tickets :| oh and its full
so if you got a few tickets in your car prior to getting a bike...your insurance will be higher for the bike as well?
35, no tickets in 3 years. Liability only with 100/300 runs me $100/yr for the GS with Progressive.
I pay $220/year with Progressive. Comprehensive included, but my liability isn't very high.
21 years old with clean record.
State Farm is good... 32 no tickets, one at fault accident, one not at fault accident.
GSXR1100 with 100/300/100 UMBI, UMPD, and comprehensive with $100 deductible... $29 a month
I might add that I'm an insurance agent for a living but I work for a different company... That should tell you something.
Im 16, clean record, and its about 2000 CND a year for just liability. It would be 500 for my dad, whos 45 with a clean record. I dont know how you guys get off so easy. I use Kingsway.
Actually, Even if you are the WORST driver on the road, as long as you have a policy on you car, you only have to pay extra premiums for one vehicle. I'm not sure what the highest SDIP step is (around 25 I think), you will only pay regular insurance rates on your bike. You cannot pay extra twice.
2002 gs500k2, first bike, no record, riding for 1 month when i bought the bike, insurance 203/year through progressive drive insurance. I was amazed
2006 GS500F...1400 a year full coverage with $250 deductible.
couple tickets and accident(at fault)

wtf! Why does progressive quote me at $8000/yr for full coverage then? I must live in the most dangerous area in the country.
Markel - Bike-line.com. $300/year for full insurance. 26, no tickets, single.
I use Dairyland and pay $170/year for liability only. 19, MSF, no accidents (hahahahahahahahahahahaha), clean record. They're a pretty good company, but you have to call to get a quote.
I use Bike-Line. 28, married, no tickets in three years. I pay about $220/year for full coverage with a $500 deductable on my '91 GS.
$70 / Year for liability only on my 05 GS500F through Progressive. 34 - married - no tickets(yet)
19, brand new rider on a 98gs500e. Progressive charges me 150 a year :)
bikeline - liability only -- $20/yr!
Well, the GMAC quote didn't go through since I had only been at my job for 1.5 yrs they declined me(dunno). I was going through progressive and almost paid 220/yr when I got an online quote from bikeline for $72/yr. Told the lady at progressive to have a nice day and got the cheap one. Thanks a lot for the input, as I wouldn't have known to look at bikeline
Just make sure you at least get some uninsured motorist coverage with your liability.. My '04GS got totalled and I had $14,000 in medical bills after getting hit by an unisured  driver last September.
411 a year for full coverage on a 04 GS500F. I think maybe a $100 deductible.
I was 29 years old, married, 2 children, and nothing on my DR since 1993 when I got t
