Stores are all closing early today for the big game. The grocery store was packed and every single person--even the 90 year old lady in the scooter was wearing black and gold.
Get this--Schools all have a 2 hour delay tomorrow because everyone is going to be hung over. (except me).
I thought I was going to get mobbed because I didn't have the appropriate 75% of my body covered with black and gold shaZam!.
If they don't win, the morgue is gonna be overflowing tomorrow morning. I'd like to see them win because this city really needs a morale boost right now. As for me personally, Football falls a distant third behind boxing and nicktoons.

Well at least the city has team spirit.
Superbowl? What's that?
this city lives and dies by football. they will talk about it all year round. I'm hoping if they win the mayor will declare tomorrow a holiday and noone will have to work.
now that'd be sweet.

a new soap opera where manly... men get together to scream like little girls... or so my gf told me.
Congrats on the win
i thought my poor motherinlaw was going to have a heart attack.
Then i was nervous walking home because people were shooting guns and shaZam! off all over the place.
jake, it WAS crazy!! i spent the weekend there visiting my GF. couldnt ahve picked a worse time to go! we did have fun down southside last nite. i never saw so many drunks in one place. it was so insanely crazy. i was standing there right on the corner and some guy broke a bottle over another guys head!
sweet, so you made it to the southside. It's a fun place. THey actually have all the streets closed tonite. as well as down in oakland.
This place is gonna explode
So what's going on today? Is it still nuts or are people just basking in the sweet taste of victory?
Hey, Weazelnose, did you take any pictures of the celebrating?
That would have been prime picture taking time.
Big ups, Steelers fans. Enjoy this time. I am super glad you won. I really don't feel like people in Seattle are real sports fans. Fair weather fans, like the Rams fans in '99. They don't deserve a championship. But you guys do.
well Jon, seeing as I have yet to get my ass outta the house I don't know what's going on. Since I sat up and watched the game and the aftermath I didn't start my stats homework till about 12:45 and finally quit workign on it and went to be about 4:30 am.
I did see on the news though, that down in Oakland (where Pitt is) that someone had lit a huge bonfire and also turned a car upside down in themiddle of Forbes avenue.
