Title: A little retrospect
Post by: Maduro Mistress on February 07, 2006, 11:34:01 AM
- I bought my bike on June 7th last year
- I put 7439 miles on her in the 107 days or so I got to ride in the season
- I added up all my oil changes, the cool parts I bought for her and that came to around $570... then I added up
- all the GEAR I bought - gloves, helmets, jackets, yadda yadda and that came up to $1841!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- and i worked out that my baby Zuke cost me $22.53 every one of those 107 days I rode her (not including gas).

Damn, though, it was worth it!  :icon_mrgreen:

does the $22.53 include the gear? I would exclude it as that is a long term investment that can go from bike to bike...

cool info though.

yes, that includes the gear :) I could take it out, but the figure wouldn't look near as damning :) LOL

$5.32 a day without gear... (also, both figures are without the purchase price of the bike)

Oh man...  I don't even want to do the math on this one...  I think everyone on the board would hunt me down for revenge (and being a cheap-ass). :icon_lol:

I'm guessing about $4.00 a day for every dime I've dropped on moto'ing.
