Post by: Zxtritan on February 11, 2006, 01:08:55 PM
How do i replace the clutch lever perch? I stripped the section where the mirror screws in, so i bought a new perch and clutch lever. so now i need to replace it, but not sure how. couldn't find it in the Clymer's manual either. someone please help.
Thanx, -Anthony

I'm here.  You will need to remove the bar end, take off the handgrip, loosen the clutch cable at both ends, align the threaded adjuster at the perch, unbolt the clutch lever and remove, then take off the choke cable and the switchbox by removing the screws holding these in place, slide the choke lever off, loosen the bolt on the perch and slide it off.
