Hi all,
I am going next year... my aunt and uncle just moved down to Florida, just north of Orlando. And guess what? When I went to visit them last month I found out they live just 40 minutes west of Daytona! We even went there on a Saturday to see the track, and it turned out to be Fan Appreciation Day that day, so I got to see and hear NASCAR cars flying around the track in pre-Daytone 500 testing. Very cool!
I just thought you'd like to know that this means:
1) I have a place to stay at Daytona with family. :)
2) It won't cost me anything to stay with them and commute back and forth to the racetrack.
3) Life is cool when you have relatives in Florida!
In 31 years of motorcycling, I have never been to Bike Week at Daytona. I'm starting to plan for next March.
