Hey all!!
I just wanted to shine my face before you all. I have just recently registered as a member of this site, though for the past about 2 years I have been in the shadows. I visit usually daily and feel like I know all of you well, even though you haven't heard from or about me. To give you a quick rundown of myself:
I am from South Dakota and purchased a Blue 2004 GS in May of 2004. I found this forum when I was in the looking stage, and it greatly influenced my decision to pick a GS. Ever since then I have been visiting, like I said earlier, almost daily. I hadn't had any input to add to any of the discussions so I just stuck around reading and never posting. I finally had some information to answer a post in regards to re-upholstering a seat, so I decided to join the family.
Well, once again thank you for your help throughout the past 2 years and maybe now that I finally became a member, I can add a little bit of knowledge here and there. I greatly appreciate all that I have gained from all of you!!
Welcome!
Welcome! Hope you enjoy all the great info here!
Glad to have you!

well then you probably know I am the coolest person on this board :icon_razz:
welcome ;)
welcome out of the dark and congratulations on exceptional self control for lurking...
Welcome! Don't believe a word said about me (but everything said about pablo and scratch is true! :flipoff:) :icon_mrgreen:
Welcome to the board, and let me echo what pablo said on the lurking bit. We've had some "problems" around here, if you noticed.
Oh yeah, and pandy is a post whore extrordinaire.
The things you've probably heard about me are all true. I usually let the praise come from others. Just remember, where two or more of you gather, Jake D is there also!
Big ups on lurking! I lurked for all of two months.
Welcome!
Greetings from South Carolina!
I just read an article about South Dakota in Peter Egan's second book, "Leanings 2." He rides to Wounded Knee and other spots of historical significance in your fine state.
I envy your horizon and sky. I'm sure you would like to trade it some days for the twisties of the the Smokies we enjoy nearby.
If you've managed to stay tuned this long, you must see the value of this group of misfits, regardless of the occasional gnawing on each other that occurs. It's kinda like watching puppies and kittens at play. Sometime they bite each other too hard. :icon_rolleyes:
Welcome!
Thanks for all of the greetings!! I have definitely seen the turmoil that has occurred here, but I think it is a great community overall. I like the analogy of the puppy and kitten, heh.
I forgot to post a little more information about myself in general, so to any that may be wondering....
I am 22 years old and just graduated from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology with a BS in Computer Engineering and a Computer Science minor in 3 1/2 years (which was quite a bit of tough work). I figured that the easiest way to put off paying back loans was to continue going to school. However, graduate school sounded interesting but not exactly much fun. I have enough equations memorized already, so I decided to pursue another route while still looking for a job. I am currently attending Trinity Bible College, which is about 40 minutes from what I call "home". I have been away from my family for quite some time so I am finally able to catch up with them a little bit since I am so close now. Well, if there is anything else you would like to know, please just ask.
And once again, thank you all for your vast help throughout the past years. I have definitely learned a lot, laughed quite a bit, and felt I was productively wasting my time when I should have been doing homework. Hope you all have a great rest of the week!! =:Þ

tell us (okay, just me) about the girl in the avatar...you? your girl? inquiring minds...
Yes, yes!
I have a two track mind. . . too.
Yes, yes, the girl! heheh
Reminds me of the Movie the Blues Brothers - "How much for the women? I want to buy your daughters."
Yeah I guess I forgot to mention my gender. I am the male in the picture and the girl is a friend of mine. Sorry for the excitement
We are always looking for the "best in sight" girls around here.
Check out Ginoe's "clevege magnatism" thread!
You probably remember that gem.
