Well put in your votes!
no fair, I should be able to vote for myself
I would be the "artist with crayons moderator" :thumb:
every board needs one of those
If this is a serious vote, I suggest searching out the posts of the above mentioned candidates. In my opinion, Redshift is the most qualified after reviewing his posts. His posts are generally insightful and helpful without the P/W fluff.

Absolutely. I didn't even have to think twice before I cast my vote.
I'd like to be a MOD:
annguyen1981: "Puny Gonaded Moderator"
...damn WEASEL's get no respect....NOZE respect I tell ya...
I just thought of this idea...
How bout making them all mods as long as they accept?
Where's the button to vote for Joerocker? :icon_rolleyes:
I vote myself! Yay me! Yay narcissism!
Although, of all the people up there, I'd vote RedShift.
I think before anyone votes, think about what makes a good moderator. Being a knowledgeable member does not necessarily make for a good moderator, though it makes an excellent member and helps a moderator.
What qualities does one need to be a good moderator?
Are they tactful?
Do they have proper "netiquette"?
Are they able to be firm and unbiased?
Do they encourage and participate in discussions?
Are they active enough on the board to nip problems in the bud?
Are they solid in their decision making abilities?
Do they have a strong enough "presence"?
Make sure you ask these questions to yourself before voting!
Hopefully this won't be a popularity contest or a "who knows the most" sort of thing. But more, who will do the job the best?
BTW - I voted for Redshift. :thumb:
that is something id like to do. been there done that before. but my time will come, btw i gave my vote to pandy. seems well rounded, but im bettin could become quite firm if pushed hard enough. but redshift also deserves it

hahaha, that was my first thought too...
Redshift got my vote...
Redshift will make a great mod, he's my number 1 pick too, but since he seems to have the votes, I voted for Jetswing :thumb:

Hey, I'm just offering a chance for variety of candidates.
Well, since JoeRocker isn't an option , Redshift rocks my vote, too! :icon_mrgreen: :thumb:
There is not one option in the list of potential moderators that shares my values, and only one that would come to the defense of anyone not leaning to the left, so that's who I voted for. I do applaud John and Pablo for FINALLY banning the most vulgar member to deface this board. In keeping with the moderators encouragement to keep this site clean, I have removed most( :icon_rolleyes:) of my attempts at provoking honest non-liberal thought here. Of course I've left anything that could help a new GS500 owner get aquainted with his or her steed. Since I don't currently own a GS500(same as lots of other members :icon_rolleyes:), I probably won't post in the future, other than perhaps a polite correction to anti-American Motorcycle propaganda. I do wish you all health, wealth, and sanity. Have fun, and play nice.

I think it's hilarious how you offensively say you're removing the offensive material. Well done!

I don't think going to that extreme is necessary, per se, and this is coming from one of those "liberal yahoos". You shouldn't just up and leave, but maybe throw in motorcycle advice at times too? I dunno. Just a thought. If you do decide to leave, ride safe Ed.
Ed just wants to keep his motorcycle expertice to himself. He's an American bike bigot now
jesus who nominated me? lol
I miss Mr. C, we should make him an honorary mod
+20
yay jeebus...
Well!!
Get distracted for 10 days and I get elected for something important. Surprised seems too mild a reaction. Thanks for all those that voted for me. :thumb: (Goes to show you never know what effect you have on others.)
Postscript: The main reason for my disappearance was an ice storm that hit Michigan on 17-Feb causing 3 days of no power. Was winter camping in my living room  -- temperature in the basement was 38°F (3°C). At night it dropped down to 4°F (-15°C). Not a fun time.
Kinda reminded me of that movie, Day After Tomorrow (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319262/), when the earth fell into an ice age and everything above Florida was in perpetual winter. Yikes. Makes me shiver.
It looks like you won by a landslide.
Why are you not a mod now? :dunno_white:
Why am I not a mod? :icon_mrgreen: :icon_razz:
