Hi guys. Just received my carbs and im aiming to reinstall them asap. I dont have a manual and cant seem to find a how to for this(yes, im working on the manual) Just thought there might be some scanned imageds already on the site somewhere.
Yes there is: http://www.gstwin.com/carb_work.htm
i already saw that. it didnt show specifically were each hose went.
http://www.gstwin.com/fuel_hose_routing.htm
I searched using 'hose routing' with username 'Kerry'.
I doubt they can post copyrighted marterial on this site.
But you may find someone willing to break the law via email. ;)
They could just scan the pages and send them via email. I dunno how non legal that is.
All you have to find is someone with the book. ;)
and a scanner ;)
and email them.
Btw- I am selling cheap gucci socks for $100.00
if your interested in cheap gucci socks email me. THe socks are slightly worn and have been sitting on my scanner for about a month.

thanks guys, im pretty clear on that. Now i need a tutorial as to how to attach the choke cable. any help on that (for some reason i can hear seshadri laughing :icon_confused:)
anybody willing to lend a hand?
ok, this is a (crappy) picture of the choke slider mechanism that's attached to the carbs:

On the left side, you can see the hole that the nipple on the choke cable fits into:

The nipple sits in the hole and the cable is routed through the cutout.
Does that help?

yes it does, but does the cable sit in the catch at the other end of the slide?
Here's a pic from the Haynes manual, it should make it clear:

thanks man, im going outside right now and take care of that. O0
okay, the how is stating that there is supposed to be a vacuum hose somewhere? its stating the vacuum goes to the left carb? Where? :2guns:
On the inboard side of the carb (right-side of left carb).
are you referring to the top T?
No, it's on the actual body itself. It's a spigot, like the ones on the floatbowls, sticks out, pointing to the right, almost where the carb meets the carb boot (the forward boot; downstream).
