I can count on one hand how many times it's snowed here - and it's been quite warm until this past week... Still too cold to ride though. Last year we had record snow fall of about 100cm (39 in.) in one night!

I was riding around last night. :flipoff: It was a warm 29°. SUCKAS!!!
Seems to me there's always something wrong with any place would want to live. Best to suck it up and live with what you've got. I am sympathetic to what Groff22 & Manofthefield go through. Ten days ago we lost power here in Michigan for three days due to an ice storm (rain & 40°F during the day, followed by a 4°F evening as an arctic high came through).
Nothing like having to winter camp in your living room (warmest place in the house at 44°F before the fireplace was lit). It was quite an eye-opener to realize how reliant we are to electricity and how fragile supply is in my neck of the woods.

Drove home from Reno today...it started snowing on us going over Donner Pass, darnit! Took us 3.5 hours to get there, but 6.5 to get back :bs: Traffic sucks, and driving in the snow sucks...but it sure is purdy! :icon_mrgreen:

Lol. One would think so. It becomes quite surreal when you can't see more than two feet in front of you due to blowing snow. Yeah, that was quite a freak snow fall. My employer had a few volunteers working for two days straight just to keep up. Myself on the other hand was working from the comfort of my own home. The snow in my driveway was literally over my head... My neighbor and I got wrecked and dug ourselves out. w00t.
