Title: T-REX Bike
Post by: annguyen1981 on February 20, 2006, 11:10:19 PM
This looks awesome!  I'd prefer only one solo seat in the center tho...

Uses a Kawi ZX-12 engine. I saw it at the IMS in Houston. I think I'd rather have an Ariel Atom though.

It is. You can call 'em up and ask to be safe, but it's definitely street legal in the US.

I saw a t-rex at a bike show in dallas, it was pretty awesome.  the controls for the horn and turn signals are the same ones on a bike just mounted on stubby little bars.  it was sorta funny and cool that they used the motorcycle stuff.

I saw one at a bike night last year, and it turns out we have a local dealer in South Florida.   Definitely street legal, but don't get caught in the rain.     I think they are about $20 grand, but don't hold me to that, it might be higher.    My birthday is in October, and if you all start saving up now...

I'd rather have an attack.  Superior performance and half the cost.

Downers Grove Yamaha (better known as DGY) has a yellow one on display in their showroom, it looks the shaZam!, but $50,000?!?  For that price, I'd be inclined to import one of those INSANE Ariel Atoms that someone posted a TopGear video about the other week.

Nearly 1000lbs lighter than the Miata and twice the horsepower out of the box...cheaper than the MS Miata, too.

Not a bad list!

I had a royal blue (almost purple  :icon_razz:) convertible bug when I was a teen.... I almost got a bright red Miata a couple of years ago, but I was sensible instead and picked up my Fiji Blue Civic EX... Why must I always be sensible!?  :cookoo:

It is my firm belief that "chick" cars must be attractive (ex. fwd celicas, miatas, xk8 vert, etc), there for the Neon does not qualify.  It's simply an "ugly car."  Also, once a Jetta or Golf turns 7, it's becomes a guy car...haven't quite figured that one out myself.

Ja-Rule has one of those T-Rex things and he took the camera man for a ride in it during a Cribs episode.  He managed to look like a squid in a T-Rex.  Amazing.

There is a dealer in Independence, MO, Mid America Powersports Plus, that has a couple sitting out front.  Didn't reallize how much they cost, should have stopped and asked for a test ride.

Off 40 Highway just North of I-70 and east of 435, near the catholic church.  That's all I remember as I saw it on my way back from a funeral.

I see more chicks driving 4 door Pontiac Grand Ams than anything.  There thick like flies around here.  And VW bugs.
