what was that following you.. a scooter? or a 250cc
is it sad when you recagnize tracks in GP videos because you spent 10 years living in Gran Turismo?
You looked "crossed up" as you informed me about being in a lot of those turns. Or am I seeing it wrong? I'm trying to get a visual cue so I can improve my technique.

yeah, I am totally crossed up. This video was taken 9 months ago and was before I really saw some good photos showing my bad form...I've been working on it ever since I saw how bad I looked... :thumb:

What's "crossed-up"?
You looked smooth.

What's "crossed-up"?
Essentially, your ass end is leaning off the bike, but your chest is still over the tank.
yeah, crossed up is when your upper body isn't in line with the bike. If I had my head closer to where the mirrors would be ("kissing the mirror" is the term used) then my upper body would be parallel with the bike...I've been working on it since this video...
Cool vid... I know nothing about form... :dunno_white:
But, the music makes me want to stab my face off.

For reference, tophyr, look at pablo's pictures in his sig and compare them to the video.
Is it just me, or does it take a lot more effort to keep your torso parallel with your bike? It feels like it's putting a lot more strain on my muscles than when I am "crossed up". Maybe that is an indication I'm doing it right?
shouldnt be more work. your outside leg/knee should be holding your weight against the tank/frame. so your torso is also supporting your weight. your hands dont support you at all and you should be able to loosen your grip or even remove your hands from the grips...your inside foot also supports some weight...
it does take effort to get the position right...mentally. its easy to do it 'crossed up'...its also a little more scary to have your head that far out and over the pavement without anything under it...thats the cool part.
Pablo, very cool video.
Me wishes there was a track close by :)
another young kid? YOU ARE a young kid! :)
