Title: trouble ID'ing pipe
Post by: fibes7 on February 27, 2006, 10:50:58 PM
ok so ive had my bike for few months now, used 2000 gs500e, i love it, only had 2700 miles great bike to learn on (+more)
my question is what is the exact model of this pipe that came on it, i know its cobra atleast the clamp says cobra
is the f1s the only one that works on my bike anyways? pics at http://www.aximpc.net/photos - one is of it really up
close, clearly it doest have the huge f1 red emblem is what confuses me, are there heat "stickers" that can go on pipe and hand
temps/not melt

thanks in advance for any suggestions and info about this pipe

I just bought a bike with this can on it.  I can ID it for you but the previous owner might.  He responded to my post. He might be able to help.

This can sounds great. I posted a video of it running.

Hi there,
Have you tried calling Cobra and asking them for help identifying the muffler can?
Tell us why you are asking these questions? Is there a problem with the exhaust?
Thanks,
Todd
