Today I went to my workplace with my bike, also with this cold weather (here the temperature is about 5-8°C). The bike run well but some minutes ago I returned to my house and my eyes caught a huge oil loss which has rained on the frame, the engine carter until the rear wheel. I'm a little sad, these things should not happen, the bike has only 150 km!!!!
I don't know why it happened, as soon as possibile I will call the reseller, I have to search for an oil level (does the bike have one?) to see if I can drive it to the seller or if I need to add some oil. I warmed up correctly, about 2-3 minutes so I don't wonder how this happens.

thanks. I had a doubt about the measurement method (rescrew or not) so now I'm sure the bike has oil. Maybe the problem is the bike has too much oil? Now, with a temperature of +5°C, the levels is over the end of the sign, unless it lost a lot. I hope this is the main problem, now I caugt a flu so until next week I wn't ride to the dealer, I give him a phone call yesterday and he told me that if the oil is at a good level I can drive to his shop. I'm sad, the oil seems to exit from the exaust side of the head junction and also from left engine carter and has spreaded around all the bike (also the seat behind me was hit!). I hope I can update this post with good news asap but I'm a little in doubt......

You know what it sounds like to me?
I had the same problem -- oil everywhere -- a couple months ago after I checked the valve lash on my GS500E and the rubber valve cover gasket apparently got pinched when I reassembled everything.
I had oil all over the left side of the bike, but it could just as easily been on the right side, from the front of the engine to the side cover, to the frame, the rear tire and shift lever. Ugh.
I cleaned it all off, started the bike and watched the oil leak ever so slightly from the top, center, left side of the H-shaped valve cover, and it oooozed forward at the angle of the engine, slowly followed its way along the cylinder fins, dripped down the front of the engine onto the cam chain adjuster and then onto the front engine mount, before being blown around the left side of the bike by the wind as I rode around.
It was miraculous to see how the oil flowed once I had cleaned it up and watched for the leak.
I bet the dealer might have accidentally pinched that same rubber valve cover gasket when they checked the valve lash on the new bike -- if the dealer did check the valve lash. When I worked at a dealership, we checked all new bikes for valve adjustments before they went out the door. And even if the dealer didn't check them, it's possible that Suzuki pinched the gasket upon assembly at the factory and it just started leaking.
If it is the gasket, it must be replaced. Don't try to just seal it.
Clean up the oil, start the bike and watch what transpires with the leak. :)

Apparently he is ill, give him some time to get back.
i'm ill, yes. I think I can't drive to the dealer until saturday, today it's a little warmer but it's not a good idea drive a bike with some fever and and an outside temperature like that's here now....
some days ago I took the bike. Today a cal him to know if there's something new and he told me that the bike has probably a pinched head gasket, so he has to disasseble the head to check it, order parts, reassemble and test. So for about 10-15 day I'll be without my bike. I hope the problem will be solved, else if there's something wrong after this, I'll ask for a replacement bike or, at least, free maintenance for 5.000 or 10.000 km.

Some news!!
Today I called back and the dealer told me that he drove the bike to see the problem, and then decided to disasseble the engine and chage the head, cylinders and chain strenghtener (ooops maybe you won't understand this, I don't know how explain! :asd:) gaskets, and the problem now should be solved. Saturday i'll go take the bike, finally! Anyway...what a strange problem for a new bike, fortunately it should not have any damage because it always ran with oil....soon with some pictures ;)
Good to hear that it was fixable! Chain tension-er might be the word you're looking for. :thumb:
