Hey guys/gals, i'm not too familiar with removing fenders from bikes :dunno_white:
so i was wondering if anyone had opinions if i should do it or not, i want to be careful because it is my first time riding a street bike and i don't want to take the chance of dropping it....and no i dont want to buy an E  because i want to have the fenders for when i am more experienced, dont get me wrong, naked is sexy, it just isn't my type...yet.......does anyone know how or have directions of how to remove fenders from the 05' or 06' (basically same bike)

thanks a bunch scratch
nothing there about fenders that I saw.
There are a couple of screws, 4 actually, on top of the fender at the fork legs. There is a metal bracket on top of the fender that the screws go into. You NEED this metal plate-it keeps the fork legs from twisting. I've heard of people reaching between the tire and fender to access the screws but not sure its possible. Everywhere I've read, the process involves removing the front wheel to access the bolts on the screws.
i think he meant the fairings not fender
yep im retarted i meant fairing lol sorry guys!!!!! :thumb:
