Use the right term.  Run the search for "GSXR" and "SHOCK" and you will get a ton to read.

Short answer though is; no they won't fit.

Not completely true. It is not a direct bolt-on but they can be made to fit. I have a '04 gix6 shock on one of my bikes. Had to relocate the upper mount and use a GSXR lower linkage since it is shorter so the larger diameter spring would clear the swing arm.

Well if you are going to go that far to cut and reweld your frame, you can make anything fit. Including a STRUT from a car.  :icon_lol:

wasnt Srinath saying some GSXR shocks worked ok, but needed the long clevis that the short ones whouldnt work   and had to have remote resovior an not the integrals.  then someone else said integrals will work with airbox but something else needed to be done.

The shock I have has the body mounted reservoir. I do not have an air box but there is about 1/4-1/2" clearance between the upper mount I made and the K&N filter. The mount is about 3" tall. One problem with some of the GSXR shocks is that the body mounted reservoir is offset to the left. This may cause a problem with the frame mounted fuel valve. Since I have stripped off all the street stuff this is not a problem. The early 200x's gixxers (IIRC 01-02) had the shock with the reservoir centered. As for the clevis...the longer GS clevis will not work, only the shorter from a GSXR. This is due to the larger diameter spring, not sure when the diameter was increased.
