Honestly I think it's a load of crap. I'm sticking with SNELL certified stuff.

Last time I read that, the Snell response wasn't attached.  Looks like they've done a decent job of defending themselves.

Even if Snell's testing is flawed, it's still about the best we've got (DOT certification is a joke, and has nothing to do with testing).  It's obvious to me that Snell is a foundation that cares about our heads, and not the bottom line.

Like Alpha said, I'm sticking with Snell.  If it doesn't have the sticker, I won't buy it.

When I crashed my helmet hit twice. Once when my head smacked the ground initially, and then again when the back of my head smashed against the curb. Knocked me out, amnesia, but no headache or brain damage. I'll trust my Shoei.
