$92.75 for a vehicle license renewal on my 2001... I was a little shocked, but I guess that's what I get for living in Seattle...
Ah Washington... Home of the "$30" tabs/tags. + another $22.75 in fees + a $40 "monorail" tax (for a monorail that will never be built). I remember when WA had a sliding scale for tabs/tags... My '69 Bug cost $28 for tabs/tags... Then the (TOTAL JACKASS) "$30" tab law passed and my tabs/tags went up to $45... Which is the same as the tabs/tags for a $75,000 BMW. Hmm... Another tax break for the rich and tax hike for the poor.
So... Someone PLEASE tell me I'm not that bad off... There has to be someone paying A LOT more for tabs/tags.
I just got my registration papers in the mail.
My 600rr will cost me $91. Thats $45 for registration and $46 for license fees.
'bout the same... Eh... I think living in Seattle (rather than Bellevue) is worth $40
I'm guessing $100 is about as high as anyone is paying... But, I'm kinda hoping someone is paying more than me. :icon_lol:
Hi there,
Here in PA, "tags" are $18 for my GS500 (all motorcycles pay $18). For my Honda Accord wagon, tags are $36 per year.
We also have vehicle inspections in PA, and for the motorcycle that costs $22 at my local Yamaha shop.
And do you really call them "tabs" in WA?
I've never heard that term for registration before. Here in PA they're referred to as "tags."
It's a strange country. :)
Best wishes,
Todd

Paid $68.00 for my Tags on a 05 GS. In Atlanta
Sorry guys, my 04F only runs me $21 a year on tags. I'm still trying to think up my personalized plate though, so that'll take a chunk out :)
$64 for the '92 in California! :flipoff:
MSF $200 in Cali :o
Here in Ohio a portion of the fee goes to suppliment the MSF course. You can take the MSF for $25
  NY DMV sucks about everything except for tag costs... $7 inspection each year + $14 Registration
MSF in NY costs $275 :o signing the little bro up for his
for me in Seattle the 93 GS was $40 and my 98 Nissan 200sx-se was $180. :o
Fing Monorail
Hi again all,
I forgot to mention -- MSF classes are FREE here in Pennsylvania.
That's the way it should be.
Yours,
Todd
Yeah Delaware's pretty easy on the pocket. $10 a year for my GS and free MSF, also when your done you just have to show you passed MSF at the DMV and it's an instant license. Oh yeah, and my license is like $30 every time you have to renew it, which is about every 5 years, with free motorcycle endorsement.
MSF in Atlanta is 250 if you goto the Honda Riding Center and $400 if you take it at the Harley Center
i haveint had to renew my bike tags yet, i just had to renew my car for $79.
MSF course california
-under 21 $200
-over 21 $250

Yeah... Tabs... Tags... Same diff.
Vehicle License!
In WA, we have the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and the DOL (Department of Licensing)... You go to the DMV to get your Registration and what not... Then you have to go to a different office (the DOL) for your driver's license... But, WA has another DOL (Department of Labor). And it's not a DUI here... It's a DWI. :dunno_white:
So... One person voted more than $100 for their tabs/tags... I feel ripped!!! :icon_confused:
4f
28.50 for NJ.
Its tabs here in MN
All motorcycles pay $14.50, and MSF is like $100 dollars
A friggen monorail....reminds me of that episode of the simpsons
Damn... $93 for tabs, $240 for MSF, and an extra $10 (or something) for a moto-endorsement just seems like such a rip... Oh well, at least I got my bike for cheap.
I know when I lived in SC you had to pay "property" tax YEARLY! on your car, bike, an boats.. BS!.. Glad Im back in PA now :thumb:
