kimo:

I put the graphic warning in the title.

Excellent example of why gear is so important! I'm surprised the docs were able to clean that up so well!!!!!   :o

That was an easy left hander...had he approached it at an acceptable speed he would have seen the debris ahead of time...no sympathy for him, especially endangering his girl in the process.

The same thing happened to me when I was 13. I was runing like hell and I fell on a unusually sharp rock and my knee tore open like that. It actually didnt hurt but I cryed because of all the blood. Why is it that paper cuts hurt more that gashes :dunno_white: ???

Deep cuts take out most of the nerve endings, while paper cuts only get deep enough to fsxx with the nerves enough to cause enough pain to suck a lot.

I suppose either of those answers are adequate...but I don't get them.  I've never had a problem associating the level of pain with the severety of the injury.

Yep.  It's that time of the year again.  Time for graphic supposed "bike crash" pics.
