Title: Survey question suggestions
Post by: john on March 15, 2006, 01:12:56 PM
I'm looking into creating a new survey.  Something short and sweet.  Maybe 10 or 12 demographic and lifestyle questions.  What info would you like asked?

1. Do you have an interest in pornography?

2. Do you believe in internet romances?

3. Do you think that it is possible to love someone as much as you love Jake D?

4. What excites you most about Jake D?

5. In what way would like to be more like Jake D?

Pertaining to what?  Life in general or motorcycle type stuff?
Title: Re: Survey question suggestions

Both.  The obvious will be age/sex/location. After that probably some bike questions and maybe other topics of interest.  loking for ideas beyond age/sex/location.

What do you want to know about GStwin users/visitors?

HAha Jake. That's awesome

Anyways, I think it should include something about occupation. There seems to be a lot of IT people here, and a lot of students..especially mechanical engineer type stuff. So how about an occupation type question.

Also, how about a question as to why they bought a GS? I mean, let's face it - it is not the flashiest, sexiest bike in the world but we all love it.

How old are you?
Where do you live?
Are you a full time employee/student?
What do you do or what is you educational aim?
How long have you been riding?
What do you ride?
What do you most enjoy about riding?
Where would you like your interest in riding to take you?
How much of your life do you invest in riding?
Has riding proved beneficial to other aspects of your life?
What other hobbies do you enjoy?
Is Jake D a real life equivelant of Captain Kirk?
Is Jake D's sex appeal rivaling that of a turnip?

Do you like riding curvy roads?
Do you live near curvy roads? (Near being within 20 miles)
Do you ride in the rain?
Do you LIKE to ride in the rain?
Do you think riding in the rain improves your riding style by magnifying your mistakes?

Yeah, that is a picture of me at work.  That was the day they made me stack pallets all day.

I was so pissed because I got this little rip in my jacket!  And my feet were killing me by time I got home.

Here is a survey question or two:
Do you like to ride in a pink puffy jacket?
Do you like to ride in heals?
Do you like to ride in a black micro skirt and panty hose?

My answer to all those questions:  YES!

Shouldn't "on a motorcycle" be at the end of each of those questions, or are we not talking motos anymore?  :dunno_white: :icon_lol:

Thanks Pandy.  Nothing stops the fun like thread enforcement.
I like the one on why you bought a GS.
I also want to know the most obscure CD that you've listened to this week.

Here is a good question:

How is everyone doing in their March Madness Pools?

I'm 13-3 after the first day.  Not too shabby!

How about, if you only have ONE piece of advice to pass to a new rider (and only ONE! no cheating), what would it be?

Are you of the school that EVERYONE will eventually crash (two types of riders, those who have gone down, and those who will go down)?

What's your favourite hobby that doesn't include motorcycling, cars, wrenching?

Is it okay to crash?
Is it okay to crash if you don't get hurt?
Is it okay to crash if you don't hurt somebody else?
Is it okay to crash if you learn something?

Do you change your brake fluid every other year?
Do you change your fork oil every other year?

Mileage:  There have been some threads on this subject over time.
Commuter:  Daily distance
Fun Runs:  Weekend rides and for the single crowd, distance to ride for a booty call.
Iron Butt:  Long hauls for one day and over single run.

A fashion question, what exhaust layout do you like on a street bike:
Undertail
Hiphuggers
Conventional
Low pipe
Belly tank

A lifestyle question, how many times a year do you have sex on your bike?
I bet that one got your attention.

Here is what I desire John. I want "moderators" to ONLY be able to delete or move posts.
That's it.
When a moderator edits my postings while leaving my screen-name, it implies that "I" typed those words when I truly did not.
The word "FIXED" at the bottom of the field just "doesn't cut it".
Nor do the words "edited by Pandy".
Whilst some posts that have been garnered may be offensive to some, I assure you that I am just as offended by liberal panty waisted posting as well.
You should "clip her wings". If my posts are that damned offensive then they should be deleted in their entirety.
I will never again feel as if I can post freely. Especially when I read words that were never written by me. Thank you, Wilson

too bad. what you want (your first line) isnt do-able. mods and admins will continue to edit posts as they see fit.

If I see this posted again somewhere, anywhere by you I will ban you. This has to be the 10th time I've seen this posted. you've been heard. now pray to the patron saint of silence, St Fu.
