Title: Fork brace question
Post by: neilson on March 16, 2006, 02:16:06 PM
Does anyone know where to find the bolts for the fork brace?  I noticed one was missing and the three others are kinda crusty looking.  Oh, and one more for yall: After removing the stock rear view mirrors, what do you think I should put in the place where they used to be? I went to Home Depot in search of something similiar to the plugs that cover the allen bolts for the handlebars but couldn't find anything like them.  Thanks for all the help and info so far.

Parts are available online, via bikebandit or ronayers or you can go to a dealer.

Check out Starwalts solution.  he found away to make removing the front tire unnessary.

as for the rearview mirror holes.  I used a bolt cut to size.  I plan on torgueing it, then using a grinder to make it round and less obvious. I might even just grind the whole thing down then paint. we'll see.

good luck. :thumb:
