Title: Flying to Dallas..What to Do?
Post by: boosdad on March 18, 2006, 11:44:03 AM
My wife and I are flying to Dallas this week for business (well she is going for a banquet and meetings and I am tagging along [can't pass up a free trip :thumb:]).  Anyways, she has meetings most the day Thursday so I will have a free day.  Any suggestions on what to do?  Specifically, we are staying in the Arts District by the aquarium somewhere.  I thought about checking out the aquarium, but other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Brandon

Will you have the wheels or are you limited the public transit and the hot foot?

The Sixth Floor Museum!   Then walk around Dealey Plaza and get your picture taken standing on the infamous "grassy knoll".

Or spend your free day at Six Flags in Fort Worth.   Rollercoasters-A-Plenty!     :thumb:

Thanks for the info. :thumb:  We are staying at the Fairmont and the "grassy knoll" doesn't look too far away.  I am not sure about Six Flags cause I gotta be back for dinner that evening.  Hopefully we will be able to get into Dallas with all the rain and flooding down there.

I think there is also an art museum downtown.
I usually only make it to the 'burbs.
