Post by: jefferygs500 on March 18, 2006, 12:57:14 PM
hy guys, i got a problem, after putting my having my motor out and painting or and painting the frame. i went for a drive, and she's lost alot of power, Just like a dead spark plug. this could be it, i went to the local shop they never had any so i coudln't try this. Umm if i wanted to put new plug wires on, do i have to buy the whole coil with it.
my bike is a 1991. What other problem could cause this, seems like she's flooding herself too, i'm not sure jsut when i move the choke it doesn't do nothing. thanks guys

Ok i found something out this evenin. me and dad were working on it.. I started the bike up, she doesn't idle good at all, it's like she's Miss Firing, anyways dad poped the spark plug cap off while the bike was idling, he took the cap of on the throttle side, the bike idled perfect, Just like normal. Just the cap back on the noise and she idles really rough. she works as good as one cap on as two of them. could this mean the spark plug cap is bad or the wire, or the coil
or maybe something else
help please
thanks
