Title: Sorry for the stupid question...im new
Post by: James yz250 on March 19, 2006, 03:36:59 PM
sorry for the stupid question but i just had a quick question about exhaust. i recently bought a 2006 gs500f and was woundering if anyone made anything to attach a cooler muffler much like the ones on race bikes. i know vance and hines makes one but it sounds way to much like an xr400 and i heard a gs500 with a willyco exhaust on it and it didnt sound as bad as the other one. i was woundering if could get a yoshi or similar pipe to mount up to a gs500, or even a slip on that sounds good?

No one makes a direct slip on or bolt on exhaust for the GSF. Only one company makes a full exhaust for the F model, and that's Lazer, but it costs $480 and no one has bought one yet. Your best bet would be to buy a muffler from a different bike and have a shop weld it on, either that or get a flange from srinath.
