Title: Air-Fuel/Idle/Low speed screw O-Ring
Post by: Alphamazing on March 19, 2006, 07:24:38 PM
I recently lost my air/fuel screw assembly (screw, spring, washer, and o-ring) and I had a problem getting the o-ring. The dealer said they had it in stock, but they didn't. Apparently there is a Kawasaki o-ring that is exactly the same:

Kawasaki P/N: 92055-1002

Just thought someone else might be able to use the info.

thx for the tip.  How'd you manage to lose the mixture screw anyway?  Did it fall out while you were riding?

I think I had it too many turns out (adjusted it while it was running, couldn't verify how many out it was) and it vibrated out, I assume. It's all good now, changed the jetting and it pulls pretty good in the top end, but I want to get it dyno tested to make sure everything is okay, as I think there are some richness issues to deal with.

But yeah, issue with the idle screw is finally resolved.

I have no idea what part number it is, but the o ring out of an 82 yamaha xj 750 air fuel mix screw will fit too.

Just incase you need one and you also happen to have an xj laying around that doesnt run..........like i do. :icon_rolleyes:

Or in case your dealer lies to you about what's in stock!
