What year model do you have?
Honestly, most cans you'll fix onto the bike custom will sound pretty similar and you won't be able to tell much of a difference. It'll just be better compared to the stock.

Getting sound clips is pointless anyways. They all sound terrible. You have to actually experience the bike in person to truly appreciate the sound.

I have an '04 GS500F and realize that the only thing I am gonna be able to fit is gonna be slip on, but I just wanted to get a feel for the differnet sounds of the slipons. Thanks.

You won't be able to hear the differences in online sound clips anyways. They can't capture the true audible range of these things anyways. Unless you have high quality recording equipment that can capture the tonal oddities and a high quality system to play them on, then sound clips are, as BSD said, effing useless.

Thank you! Finally someone that actually helps me with what I ask! Seriously though, how old is your son? I noticed a little knee-sliding action around a couple turns! Pretty SWEET!!! The exhaust sounds pretty good. And I like your interesting camera angles too!

My son was 22 in the video.  He just turned 24.  It was his second time on a track and second year of riding.  I am an old fart, past 50, but still feeling like a kid.

I have other videos, here is one with a camcorder mounted on the tank, so they don't sound as good.  Here it is anyway.

BTW, it was my son's third track day, and I followed him for the shoot.

I'll try to get you a sound/video clip of my yoshimura exhaust tomorrow when I am replacing my chain.

Truthfully, I myself LOVE video clips that show what these machines can do. Even if it only shows the sound these things make.

And as promised, the sounds in the clips don't do real-life exhaust sounds justice.

For the record, I have a stock muffler, and I like it.

I agree. The deep, low, resonance from the exhaust is missing from the video clip.

Actually, they were shot at 500 lines of resolution, and I have the footage on DVD.  If you want, I will send you a DVD for  cost plus postage, say $5.00 with Priority Mail.  Send me a PM with your address if interested.

Here is some footage from Deal's Gap when I was riding my  1976 Kawasaki 500 triple two stroke.

Enjoy.
