What is the best riding song?
My vote goes to
Richard Thompsons - 1952 Vincent Black Lightning

lol, yeah. But if you were to say, have a video of sprited riding, which song would go best with it? A lot of Basement Jaxx stuff is good too.
Oh how could I forget. Cake - the distance
IDK??? what ever is floating thru my head at the moment and that varies a great deal. lol

An excellent choice! That's definitely on par with Radar Love by Golden Earing, too.
Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins.. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I got a mule her name is Sal, 15 mileson the Erie canal, she's a good ol worker and a good ol pal, 15 miles on the erie Canal.
I really want to ride to classical music at one point or another. Mozart piano concertos, Beethoven's symphonies. Hell, even Trans-Siberian Orchestra stuff would be awesome.
some other good stuff would be most of Radiohead's earlier work (OK Computer and prior) as well as pretty much every Toadies song. The Tribes 2 soundtrack, by Timothy Steven Clarke, would make me go WAY too fast though. :)
I like cruising to pretty much anything that's Acid Jazz... as long as it's up beat!

you know it!
Looking at some of the problems in the technical section:
Baby Don't Move Me
The Paladins
As always.... Dirty Deeds by AC/DC. Live version is best.
"Roll me away" and "Against the wind", both by Bob Seeger. Listen to either one of those before you throw a leg over, and they'll run through your head for hours as you're riding. :thumb:
X-ecutioners "It's Going Down"
Amber "The Need to be Naked" Club Mix
Seriously....both are great riding songs!
Also:
Puddle of Mudd "Control"
Limp Bizkit "My Way"

The original release of "Little Honda" was in 1964 by the Hondells. That's the tune that hit the Billboard Top 40.
The Beach Boys "covered" the song later.
GO!
I'm gonna wake you up early
Cause I'm gonna take a ride with you
We're going down to the Honda shop
I'll tell you what we're gonna do
Put on a ragged sweatshirt
I'll take you anywhere you want me to
First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster)
Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster)
Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster)
Faster it's alright
It's not a big motorcycle
Just a groovy little motorbike
It's more fun that a barrel of monkeys
That two wheel bike
We'll ride on out of the town
To any place I know you like
First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster)
Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster)
Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster)
Faster it's alright
It climbs the hills like a Matchless
Cause my Honda's built really light
When I go into the turns
Lean [Tilt] with me and hang on tight
I better turn on the lights
So we can ride my Honda tonight
First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster)
Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster)
Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster)
Faster it's alright
First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster)
Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster)
Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster)
Faster it's alright     :flipoff:  :kiss3:

And you'll always have a neighbor, you'll always have a pal, if you've ever navigated on the Erie Canal.
Either that, AJ, or you'll always have a pal if you've ever had a Nimbus 2000.
