I liked that so much I went and bought all the lights on eBay and I haven't even gotten the bike yet.
I got them all from this guy for like 20 bucks with s and h:

no if he went to a bike show they probly had the motor light up in what ever color they wanted and they probly had some that lighted up the ground . you can go to your local bestbuy/circtcity . circitcity has the best ones i'v seen yet . but . they have some small led kits. i'v seen a set of 3 blubs at best buy .. i should have bought them but i did not .
they were like under the bike, and on the back of the tail light. the only engines that had lights on them were the crusers (sorry if i mispelled) but it didnt look to nice because they had to much chrome.
i would like to c underlighting please, thats what i meat.
oh ok I know what you mean... I see that all the time at Dunkin Donuts lol
yea hit up circit city they have a small led strip that will light it up :) think its like 20 bucks . get you a togle switch wire it and mount it and you are set :) .. i'd say the purple sit looks the best on black bikes ( yes dont let the purple fool you . purple on black looks damn good. and its birghrter then red and any other color :) )
ya purple is the shaZam! i used to have them under my car
underlighting is so ghey. unless its my bike..

red to amber
At least it makes your more visible at night! :flipoff:
hey you think you'd get a ticket for riding around like that at night? I'd think it'd make night time riding safer :icon_lol:
its completely legal. red in the back and amber in the front. i used a red light under the tail, put an amber and red light together under the seat and 2 amber lights on either side of the engine.
That's pretty cool I kinda like that. What about other colors like blue or purple? I know if you use anything other then red or amber for a car's lights the po are gonna come and get you. Does the same apply here?
anybody else have any pics :icon_mrgreen:?
yea i had purple under my eclpse to .. tell i wen to a carwas and busted them ... then i had red and purple . was a bad ass set up .. but then i hit a big ass snake in dallas crossing the highway .. and SHATTERED two of them :( . yea i like the set up on that gs .. but i would have stuck with one color :) as far as the lights on the bike . i dont see it being illegal . there not blinking and you cant see them
its not illegal, i talked to the guy at the show and the guy who was selling a kit (to much $$$) and they sayd that they are perfectly legal here.

I'm thinking I might get me one of those. Not sure, as they are $80, but it'd be cool to wire it up to a little switch and switch it on at night.

Naah. $23 for only 6 LEDs? The other one I posted gives you 4 strips with 15 LEDs per strip. That's 60 LEDs for $80 compared to 6 for $25 (ish).
in PA its very illegal. make sure u check with the books and not some guy at a show. the reason i can get away with it is because it follows the lighting code. red in the back, amber up front.
going with purple led anywy. hey did u have to drill big holes into ur bike to put the lights on?
If you're worried about the 50 pulling you over and you just want the lights for show, then instead of having them on all the time, wire them to a switch and turn them off when you're ridingĀ :dunno_white:
My GS is red, so I think I'm gonna try the red to amber thing too O0
looks cool dudeĀ :thumb:
Mine would look cool, but not sure on the legality of the blue.
does any one here have leds or neon light on their gs500f ?
hey they also have ones with wireless remotes
wow
ordered the neon should be getting by time i come back
