All systems go....add gas....turn petcock to PRI...tap both float bowls a few times.....pull in clutch...push button....
VRROOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!
Started right up but needed to adjust the throttle cable to a reasonable RPM.
A few minutes later she was purring like a kitten.
I do notice a healthy growl from the K&N filter....anyone else notice this?
The new rebuilt brake calipers & pads perform very well as does the Progressive suspension.
The only downer is that I have to turn over the keys to my wife soon since this is her bike.
What type of K&N are you running? The lunchbox and pod filters will add a different intake noise that sounds like a growl. I love it.
I'm running the cylindrical one that goes into the stock airbox.

That's the drop-in. I didn't notice a change in the intake noise with the drop-in; rather, only going to the lunchbox produced a noticeable change for me. You might have more sensative ears, though.
What?
I didn't notice a change in the intake noises when I switched to the K&N drop in (drops into the airbox). The pod filters or lunchbox filters (which remove the airbox) change the intake noises to a growl type sound due to the air being sucked through them.

I do that to people and they still fall for it. About half way through repeating what they said they realize what's going on - funny! :icon_lol:
I'm glad that SOMEONE got it. :)
Got what?
