Well i'm looking for the answer of the question "if i leave the fuelcock on ON, will the gas flow if i unplug the hose going from the fuelcock to the carburetor?". The problem is, there's little fuel leaking (it's really a minor leak but still, it's one and i want to get rid of it) from the ends of the fuel filter that the previous owner had installed. I can't work by not unplugging the hose, because there's only little play. And well i know i could turn off the "tank" fuelcock but... you know... i'm lazy :P
So, what is the answer ?
Thx!
If your petcock is OK it will block fuel flow on ON as long as the engine is not running.
That's what i wanted to hear.
That's also what i read but i wanted to be sure, didn't want my fuel tank to empty on the ground huh
use your finger to plug it. if it does. it shouldn't but if it does, you can use your finger.
A great tool the finger.......ah the memories..
oh yeah
Once when I pulled the fuel lines. one was full of fuel and accidentally swung out towards me splashing my eyes with fuel.
be careful. if it happens to you call poison control even if you think your ok.
Be safe.
ever try siphoning gas with your mouth? BAD IDEA!
doesn't work with the ass either.
don't ask....
oh yeah
if you smoke be careful.
Gas ignites at a 6% mixture ratio with air. It can ignite off your hands.
..(my eyebrows have never been the same.....)

You really need to stay away from the gas station!!!
I tried that but then my bike wouldn't run.
