I've been riding since last fall, and I haven't fallen. Get it??
Somebody hasn't been riding. :icon_razz:
if youve never had an accident, odds are you prolly will at some point in the future :dunno_white:
new rider since 9+ months ago. ride almost daily. no drops so far.
as a matter of fact, i'm keeping an online diary with my adventures on the bike, so I can record the moment it happens (the drop). in the meantime, I have fun collecting stories posted in this forum from those users who drop the bike. it's amazing!

Actually, I bought the bike in september with only 1500 miles, and now it has 4500 miles
Anyone who posts here better knock on wood, cuz they're jinxing themselves horribly!
I have yet to drop a motorcycle. I also have yet to own or ride a motorcycle. So there. Looking at maybe picking one up in the next few weeks though, with the tax refund.
Really? I ain't skeered! You know why? Because I'm way too strong and way too bad ass to drop/crash.
And you can take that to the Bank!!!!
Plus I don't believe in curses, wishes (never had one come true), chain e-mails, or jynxes.

You've been hit by the stupid chain truck. You've got 30 seconds to laugh, then pass it on to someone else, or else one of your dead ancestors will be standing over your bed with a knife tonight, and when you wake up, they'll point and laugh at you in your tighty whitey underwear, then throw rotten bologna at you until you cry, and pee on your bed, and your mother, father, brother, cousin, and best friend's neighbor's dog will all die.
*EDITED* Because I'm an idiot, and evidently, I can't spell "bed"
My dead ancestors have seen me in action, and know not to stand over my bead.

Hahaha.. smartass... Gimme a break.. I've been up since like 11AM Thursday (25 hours, whee!) studying, took a test at 9 this morning, and have another at 3 that I should be studying for.. mebbe I'll go do that in a few..
Let's just hope, for your sake, that it isn't a spelling test.
And yes, I just made myself laugh. . .

Haha.. sadly enough, you made me laugh too. I'm gonna blame it on me being slap happy from lack of sleep. It's actually a CS test.. so it's not a matter of me spelling.. it's a matter of me coding..
I rode for 1 year 2 months without a drop untill i hit a chevy in the side :o
Dropped my DRZ in the mud a few times climbing hills offroad... the DRZ takes being dropped much better than the GS... Its made to hit the ground.
I've dropped, but never crashed... Does that count for anything?
I have been riding my GS for two years without an incident. However, when I was 15 I wiped out on my Yamaha enduro and tore up my leg pretty good.
I don't even use a kick stand anymore. I just let her go. :dunno_white:

Who was it that said that I just look at my bikes, and they fall over? It was probably JetSwing, cuz he's mean that way... :flipoff: :kiss3:
S/he was right... :icon_lol:
Like 20 times ... I wouldv'e said I've never wadded a cruiser ... but when I clobbered that ol lady's rental car last year with the virago ... yea crashed on all types of bikes ... several times on sport bikes, hit/got hit by cars with cruisers and standards ... Oh yea ... never crashed a standard ... booya ... see if you can match that ... BTW I ride slow, painfully slow that werase had to like search for me at each intersection ... but the damn road had like so many bendy things in it.
Cool.
Srinath.
I kinda dropped it I guess. But it was dumb. I was taking it to the dealer for it's 600mile service. The girl told me to bring it around to the side, so I rode it over there and she was going to check it for cracks, scratches and such. Well I go to lean it over and I forgot to put the kickstand down. Does that count? Never dropped it while actually moving.
got my crash out of the way on my first day of riding. I swung wide into a parking lot median that had just been mulched. It was like crashing into a giant pillow :thumb:
Since then I have logged over 10k miles in 3 years with a few close calls, but no dumps.
Been close but so far so good for me. Ive been riding for five years. But very very little. Which is something I'm hoping to fix this year. I've gotten real close though. With my old CB650C a mini-van driving soccer mom was on her cell phone and wasnt looking when she pulled out in front of me. I locked my rear break like a newb, which I was having only had my license a very short time then. So I count myself very lucky.
4 years and havnt wrecked on the street but i did take a chunk of meat out of my ankle on my dual purpose bike. Over ankle boots would have prevented it but a did put my bike on a slope and left it in neutral, walked away and within 5 seconds it toppled. So i havnt really wrecked...yet at least
hey maybe we should run a thread on scars.???
and post pics. kewl.
Is it my imagination, or do the question and title keep changing? :flipoff:
eh? lol
It's been close to two years since I started and no incidents yet. :thumb:
