Title: GS500F signals....
Post by: porsche4786 on April 08, 2006, 02:49:02 PM
I put some new LP signals on my bike today, front only for now. They seem kinda dim compared to the stock ones and are more yellow. I am considering buying buell signals now, are the buell signals brightness as bright as the stock GS's? Does anybody have these on their F model? ( I did search for about 10 min and found no pictures or anything with a F model with buell signals.)

Hello,

I cannot tell from the photo but if they are really low profile, you are going to feel really dumb making left turns at intersections with those turn signals.  The opposing traffic cannot easily see them and you will eventually get ran over.  Just do not ask me how I know.  Used to have 'em . . . not anymore.

They aren't in my photo. I'll probably just have to get the buells......

I have noticed with alot of slimline indicators that theyare just not bright enough.

I have followed bikes with these and when they have indicated, they just don't catch your attention enough let alone cagers who don't give motorcycles a second look.

Choose brightest you can to be seen!  :thumb:

I'll probably switch back to stock. I've never seen the buell signals when their on, are they just as bright?
