Title: OMFG let's go kill bad drivers
Post by: Monkie on April 10, 2006, 06:14:25 PM
[rant]

I HAD 3 PEOPLE MAKE LEFT TURNS IN FRONT OF MY RIGHT OF WAY NEARLY CAUSING A HIGHSIDE TWO FREIKING TIMES AND ONE CRAZY MIDDLE AGED WOMAN WHO INTENTIONALLY PULLED IN BETWEEN THE LANES AS I WAS WHITE LINING IN 5MPH TRAFFIC AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT WITH HER DAUGHTER AFTER I MADE IT THROUGH (thanks to the other car pulling over).  OMFG people are trying to cause accidents with bikers?  "HEHE wouldn't it be funny if he fell and scraped his knee?"  NO YOU #$^$& CUZ I MIGHT LOSE A BLOODY LEG CUZ OF YOUR PRANK!!!  This on top of the morons who sit there when u don't have enough space to fit between the cars and look at you while you honk and ask them to pull over 3 damn inches.  which they of course are oblivious to....I think sticking a switchblade sheath to the frame and keying every car that drives like shaZam! on way home is the way to go...ARGGG

[/rant]

PS need a motorized license plate cover to conceal identity after keying has occured...any ideas on how?  Thank you  :icon_mrgreen:

yea, white lining = lane splitting for long distances so you're always on the white line that seperates the lanes

My location= Indianapolis where lane splitting is illegal here so how would I know what white lining is????  To me that is where you put chalk down to line a baseball diamond.  Anyway people are assholes but maybe you should just follow the traffic and avoid all of this???

White line riding is very legal in Ca. It is almost expected. I would think that maybe she was new to the area. Here as in the mid west it illegal to ride between the lanes.

Keep your head and remain calm. Good looking out for the A%$#**&s. :thumb:

Relax man...you asked, I answered. no need to get all defensive. I'm sure you know a lot of motorcycle slang that I don't.

Going with traffic is a great way to stay safe and work out your left hand but what's the point of haivng a bike if you're going 5mph in stop and go traffic?  I prefer to lane split and as un1261 mentioned it is pretty much expected in nearly all fwy's, hwy's, and streets in southern california.  I just never expected sdomebody to intentionally try and hurt me for kicks...especially not a middle aged woman.

Don't key the cars.

Instead, break the windows with a spark plug, reach in and take the keys out of the ignition, and throw them far, far away.  Preferably onto a busy highway, off a bridge, into a sewer, or a large body of water.

I feel ya.  Just yesterday a mid 40's woman in a black Monte Carlo with Dale Earnhart's #3 in the licence plate frame, where the license plate should be, turned right in front of me as I was turning left, it was into a two lane, but you are supposed to wait for the person turning left to complete their turn, and well she ignored me, my horn and then ignored me at the next light.  She knew damn well what she'd done.  I followed her to work.  She proved herself the ignorant redneck she is.

Damn Gs'ers are gangster...2 ways to conceal the plates and scratch who actually follows people to work...i like your style  O0

i also came up with a new idea just now...carry those little window shattering devices that you can hook onto your keyring with you and as you pass them just chuck it...you can easily carry it and easily toss and if it's weighted the right way you can probably get a pretty good chance of majorly cracking the front windshield

little window shattering devices =  broken spark plug ceramics.

not really a throw. you can simply drop and it will bounce up about 3-4 ft.  depending on speed.

fits in pocket. impossible to trace.   takes a bit of practice but effective.

not that I would ever.........but just in case, it fits in pocket.

The side windows are easier to break, and are more expensive to fix.  Window punch tools are less than $10.  This information for educational use only  :icon_mrgreen:

I;d go with the windshield incognito style

simply because I own the only yella GS500 in these parts.

If I didn't get caught then I'd run into them again later anyway.

That would be nice if he moved the plate towards the front of the bike just an inch so that the plate went flush against the tail instead of hitting the brake light. Not that it would make a huge difference, as the plate does go horizontal, but just to be totally sure it was hidden...

How would you even do that? Don't worry, I'm not trying to outrun anyone on the GS, but it's an interesting idea.

How'd you know I flipped her off!?  I didn't do that until I was driving away...just before I hit the speedbump at 25mph.  Oh $#@t, you work at the same place?  It's off of Central and Lafayete.  Have a talk with her, please.  I'll apologize for calling her a B, but she needs to change her driving habits.
