Title: Brake pads rubbing during riding. How do I adjust?
Post by: tussey on April 10, 2006, 07:19:11 PM
My front brake pad is rubbing enough against the rotor to be noticeable during riding at 35mph+. Is there some sort of adjustment I can make to opening between the rotors and the pads? Thanks.

I would dissasemble and check for dirt, rocks etc... also your rotor could be warped? i think if you take our pads out and check for dirt.. maybee use brake cleaner, all should be well.. Hope you dont need a new rotor $$$$

Spray the buttons that hold the disk to the carrier with brake cleaner, maybe get the dirt (or rust) out from between those to help free up the disc, since it's semi-floating.
