Title: Safari users
Post by: john on April 11, 2006, 12:31:36 PM
Is the font when  browsing this forum really bold and thick or is it some sort of setting in my browser making it that way?

I don't know what Safari is, so I have no idea.

Looks fine to me under Safari, in both the nromal theme, and the blue/white theme that I'm currently using.

My font is currently not Verdana.  This is Verdana.  Safari is another font, but not one that I see available here.  Unless I type [ font = Safari ] (without the spaces) I get this.  Now that I've previewed this, it's all Verdana to me.

I figured it was something like that. I was just acting stupid and being obnoxious. Good times.

No font issues. But I can't quote. The "retrieving quote" window gets stuck.

No font issues either, but I'll have to +1 Markus here. It absolutely sucks that the quote option doesn't work in Safari. Works in every other Mac browser, but not Safari.

Well I never said Safari was a good browser   It just works best on my iMac at work.

Quote works when you write it out. It's just using the quote button that doesn't work. It locks on the popup that says "Retrieving Quote...". Are ya getting the same results John?

If this shows up right then quote works like butter in safari on my Mac.  Of course that doesn't mean that it will work elsewhere cause it seems that every Mac has a slightly different personality.  Just for reference i am using safari v312.6 with OS X 10.3.9.
