So after 6 weeks of being under the operating lamp and using my free time to wrench on her she's finally all fixed up and put back toghther. Here's a list of what was done.
-Repainted Exhaust
-Repainted Headlight assem and brackets
-Fenderectomy
-Carb Cleaning (my first ever! was I nervous!)
-Entire bike Hand washed and "de-rusted" twice
-Detailed With Mother's back to black
-Various rubber gromets replaced/Rotting rubber around guages replaced
-All Dashboard/Gauge lights replaced with LEDs.
I'm very excited that I can finally ride again :2guns: :2guns:

First I stripped it thoroughly with the strip pad below then I cleaned it with Acetone then used two bottles of the PJ1 paint.

just making sure it wasn't a generic enamel...if it was you'd have to sear it onto the pipes or it would turn white and corrode the metal.
