So in feb i ordered my lowering links from Adjustmenttech, I recieved them went to put them on, and it dropped my bike 4 inches turned out they were the wrong ones, so i send them back and then they come to find out suzuki changed the specs and they have to manufacture a completely different set of links.....no big deal, then shipped me my package on friday i recieved it today...woohoo i thought.... open it up and then realise there is a hole in the bottom of the envelope and only one link remains inside... what are the chances!!!!!!!
Well, maybe that is a sign that it isn't meant to be O0

So how come you've decreased your posting? I joined about 3.5 months before you, but didn't start REALLY posting until december. I've always noticed you and your useful/funny post. I kinda miss that
I rotate forums. Right now I'm kinda in between hotspots because of a falling out I've had with TLZone's (formerly TLPlanet) staff and now owners. I usually just naturally float from spot to spot...recently going to www.chazhound.com/forums and then I started going back to TLZ...I'll probably be back here for a bit...or I may hit up ex500riders but their current forum software sucks...

+1 on that!
Although.. how long have you been on ex500 riders? I remember their last version (well, the last one I SAW, anyway) was even worse, about a year ago, give or take..
I've been with them since it was spun off the mailing list.
Oh wow.. how long ago was that? I've only been checking them sporadically since about a year ago. I looked there first, when someone said an ex500 was the best starter bike. I switched to GSTwin when someone pointed out the superiority of the GS as a starter bike. Now if I could just find a damn GS!
which one is superior is debatable. A better condition EX can be found for the same money, but the GS has always had certain feature that ranked it up a bit in my book (17" wheels and a disk in the rear from teh get go, for example). I've also known more people who've bought an EX and just kept it than I do people who've bought GS's...most GS owners I've known stepped up to a larger bike after a while....either way..
It was about 2 or 3 years ago...maybe longer...shaZam!...how old am I? damn
Yeah.. I guess superiority was the wrong word to use. Maybe greater desireability. I know that since it was pointed out to me, I see the GS as the better bike for me. I honestly think that I could start with a nice used GS and maybe move up to an F someday, but beyond that, never feel the need to move up. Of course, I have yet to ride a GS, so that's all conjecture.... I was really excited when I thought I was gonna get to buy that_guy's... Now I feel kinda let down and bummed. I thought it was a great deal, doubt I'll find anything that nice for that price again anytime soon.
I'm also glad to see that I'm not the only one who forgets his age sometimes!
