Title: LimaXray - If you could help us out...
Post by: annguyen1981 on April 12, 2006, 07:52:02 PM
I was gonna pm you directly, but the answer will benefit LOTS of people with newer GS's.

Can you contact the dealer and ask them what exactly was done, what document number (or whatever) another dealer could reference?

Basically, anything that we can use to tell OUR local Suzuki dealers to look up.

Thankz

Yeah sure thing.  If I have the chance I'll give them a call today, otherwise I'm probably going to go by there tomorrow or Saturday.

I recall an early thread about this.

someone mentioned that the recall work was defective as well.  I tried a halfass search but couldn't find it.

That really depends on your dealer.  They probably don't like doing the work because they don't make any money out of it.  Same goes for warranty repairs, often they either do a shitty job, or take a month to do it.

I trust my dealer completely, the guys there are nice and really helpful, and I'm sure they did a good job.

I have no problems as of yet, but then again I've only had the bike for a week so who knows  :dunno_white:

Sweet, I was gonna ask for this info but I forgot. I can just see the dealer trying to avoid the issue. Proof would be awesome.
